Santa Claus is coming to town

Christmas fever has caught me also...Is there anybody who doesn't love Santa?  At first I thought of making small size Santa but I ended up making 12 inch Santa.

Santa without Gifts.....ummmm unimaginable..so made mini gift boxes and kept around him. Felt very happy with my completed Santa..😊

My 12 inch SANTA added more beauty to my Christmas tree. 

Who's got a beard that's long and white

Who wears boots and a suit of red
Who wears a long cap on his head
Who's got a big red cherry nose
Who laughs this way HO HO HO

Who very soon will come our way
Eight little reindeer pull his sleigh

Green Parrot Pendant and Earring

This time I chose to Go Green ;-) I wanted to make a jewel piece with this gorgeous green ribbons.... I did'nt want to make leaf or spiral design but some thing different. Then this idea of making Parrot pendant stuck my mind. 

It was not a easy job because it should not be too big as it is a pendant. So it took lots of thinking but was very happy when I saw the output. :-)

After pendant is made wanted to make matching earring for which I chose to make only the tail or feather. I am totally in love with this piece...

BLUE FLORAL JEWELLERY

The color BLUE is a color of trust, peace, order and loyalty. What a lovely color. Once I found this gorgeous blue paper strips in my box I immediately thought of making a Blue Floral Jewellery for my daughter whose birthday is coming up. So I ended up making this Beautiful Floral Jewellery. 

She is going to wear a beautiful Blue gown ( This year Blue is her favourite color ;-) ) I am sure this jewellery piece will go good with her dress. Felt really excited when I saw the completed one.

Infact this is my first attempt making a complete quilled jewellery. I am very happy with the output. 

It was an awesome feeling when my daughter said " I LOVE IT MUMMA". Even though she had lot of doubt whether it will be strong, waterproof and so on... still she is just waiting for the birthday so that she can wear it and show her friends...

RECYCLED BIRD HOUSE

Hello Everybody

        REUSE REDUCE RECYCLE...SAVE THE WORLD NO NEED TO BE SUPERMAN.. these are not my words. I saw this sometime back while browsing but its very much true - You don't have to be a Superman to save the world, Just keep your environment clean thats enough.

       So here I am presenting the Recycled Bird House. I have used the empty water bottle which we usually throw away once its empty.

I cut the bottle into two pieces and painted and decorated it with quilled flowers and foam. I enjoyed making it.

MY KID's WORK

            Proud to present some of my kids work. :-) Its always a great pleasure to see our kids doing something that we also like. I was so thrilled when I saw my little one (4 yrs) quilling. He did it with ease. I love the duck especially one made by my daughter(9 yrs) and one by my son. Once I open my craft box they will come running asking me " What are we going to make?" They are truly my treasure who admire and appreciate my work.
